OMBOND® Waterproof Adhesive (OMBOND-WP)
Heat resistant waterproof adhesive: 2 hrs boiling waterproof, 72 hrs normal waterproof, with high coverage and fast drying.
Product Description
Heat resistance, waterproof bond, high coverage, fast drying. Weather change and continuous exposure to water and moisture put furniture under stress, which can open joints and de-bond laminates even when good quality material is used. OMBOND Waterproof is a specialised waterproof adhesive that protects furniture from de-bonding even when exposed to water.
Areas of Application
- Bonds laminate, plywood and other hard / soft wood, veneer, particle board, MDF, block board and hard board
- Made for the handicraft industry; bonds all types of wood and ply to laminate, mainly where furniture is affected by moisture or water, such as kitchens and bathrooms

Application Methods
- Surfaces to be bonded should be free from oil, grease, dust and dirt.
- Surfaces should be dry and properly levelled; roughen them for best results.
- Stir the contents of the container before use.
- Apply an even coat, first on the more porous surface such as plywood, MDF or particle board.
- Do not allow the adhesive to dry. Bring both surfaces into contact with proper alignment and press from one side using a wet squeezed cloth to avoid bubbles and trapped air.
- Pressure can be given using nails, clamps, weights or masking tape.
